Training Methodology

  • Workshops are conducted for students to emphasize problem-solving through interaction and exchange of information.
  • The course comprises simulated situations and role plays to give students an insight into understanding the responsibilities of various Clinical Research Professionals.
  • We also conduct screening of video films on actual situations in Clinical Research.
  • Teaching comprises an in-depth reference to the regulations and procedures of Clinical Research including sample documentation and study data from actual clinical trials.
  • Case Studies are given to students to acquaint them with real-life Clinical Research situations and they are asked to draw inferences and make suggestions. Classroom teaching by eminent experts, PowerPoint presentations and handouts.

Internship

On successful completion of their 12 months full time scientific training on Good Clinical Research Practices, Clinical Data Management, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacology/Therapeutics and Statistical Implication in Clinical Research; all candidates undergo internship under various Project Managers, who handles different projects in diverse therapeutic areas, within the Clinical Trial Management & Clinical Data Management Department of Hospitals. During the internship period, all candidates get an opportunity to be involved in all the trial activities in different departments within clinical studies..
